So I am on the freeway taking the kids to school, have allot on my mind for various reasons.........and I get hit from behind. What next? I can't remember the last time being in an accident let alone being hit from the back. My new Avalanche, Argh. Actually it appears to be unharmed but for safe reasons will go to the dealer later and be looked over to make sure.
    What next?

    Rant over.

    Glad you're OK.

I try not to use those part-
    icular words (What next?). I
    think some questions are bet-
    ter left unanswered.

    Sorry about that, Randy. At
least, no one was hurt. I
    can also tell stories about
    related that didn't come out
well and when I put it into
    perspective, I'm just glad
you and the kids came out
of it. You are all alive.

    That's what matters.

It's OK to vent about these things...
Man...sounds like just the kind of thing that jumps out & grabs us human beings from time to time just to jerk our chains [or is it "to refine us?" Sorry to hear that Randy. Glad your'e all OK.

I moved recently, the very morning we turned up to shift our stuff, the new flat was burgled. Forced entry thru a window. I had moved some stuff in the night before (to give us a head start y'know) which was all pinched.
The place was trashed too - the culprits were teenage kids apparently. They sprayed tomato sauce, icing sugar, custard powder, vinegar EVERYWHERE. Big insurance claim for the landlord, carpets needed replacing, cops didn't catch them.

In some ways I could almost cope with a burglary but that AND the violation of being victimised like that made me feel sick.

We're gonna stay though - make it our own place & redecorate.

At least my drums were elsewhere at the time!

    Phil.

Safe is the most important thing at the end of the day. When children are involved it makes things even more tense. I have 3 of my own and they are transported by way of a Ford Expedition...Here in Ca. we have people making waves about SUV's ie.gas guzzling, size, etc. I personally don't subscribe to this because I just feel more safe with my kids surrounded by the size of the vehicle. I'm not familiar with the Avalanche..isn't that an SUV as well? Anyway, all the best with the surgery....

What a bummer Randy. As Peter said, at least you're not hurt.

It's so easy to be unhappy. We're good at that. It's a LOT harder to be happy, but I try my best.

Anyway, I'm glad you and your family are OK. The car can always be replaced. Family can't.

    Danny
